Opening Speech of the Meeting
The Mersin Economy Platform (MEP) 14th Term Consultation Meeting was held at a hotel in the city with high participation. MEP President Hakan Kayacı delivered the opening speech of the meeting.
Emphasis on Investment and Unity
MEP President Hakan Kayacı stated that they continue to work for Mersin and that consultations are ongoing with institutions and organizations regarding investments to be made in the city. He emphasized that the efforts will reflect equally on all citizens.
Evaluations by the Mayor
Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Vahap Seçer noted in his speech at the meeting that Mersin holds great importance for Turkey and that the city continues its development in a positive direction.
Rising Development Ranking
Mayor Seçer announced that, according to the 2025 Socio-Economic Development Ranking Research data, the city rose from 25th to 13th place in the social and economic development rankings among provinces.
