2025 Industry and service statistics announced in Turkey

According to provisional results of the 2025 industry and service statistics announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, a significant portion of active enterprises operated in the service sector.

Sectoral Distribution and Enterprise Rates

According to provisional results, 48.4% of active enterprises were located in the service sector. 31.6% of the enterprises operated in the trade sector, and 12.4% operated in the industry sector.

Employment and Turnover Distribution

While the service sector accounted for 41.2% of total employment, the employment share of the industry sector was 26.1%. The trade sector ranked first in turnover with a share of 46.8%.

Scope and Schedule of Data

Annual Industry and Service Statistics were compiled based on the Statistical Classification of Economic Activities in the European Community, Revision 2.1. The final data for the year 2025 are planned to be published in December 2026.
