23 Detention Orders Issued in 15 Provinces in AcnTürk Insurance Investigation
23 suspects were apprehended in a financial crime investigation targeting an insurance company determined to have obtained its license by misrepresenting its actual capital.
In an investigation coordinated by the Istanbul Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, operations were carried out across 15 provinces on allegations that AcnTürk Insurance misled the institution by showing different actual capital during its establishment to obtain a license and embezzled funds.
Initiation of the Investigation
It was announced that a comprehensive judicial investigation has been launched by the Istanbul Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office targeting AcnTürk Insurance Anonim Şirketi.
Capital Irregularity Allegations
Investigations revealed that the company's actual capital of 14 million liras was shown as 94 million liras, and the license was obtained through this method.
Embezzlement and Simultaneous Operations
While it was determined that a total of 130 million liras was embezzled in an organized manner, simultaneous raids were conducted across a total of 15 provinces on September 22, 2026.
Detained Suspects
As a result of the operations, 23 of the 24 suspects with detention orders were caught and detained, and efforts continue to apprehend 1 fugitive.
