3.20 TL hike in gasoline liter price reflected at the pump
With the new increase in the fuel market, gasoline prices in three major cities have surpassed the 80 TL threshold.
Following the 3.20 TL hike applied to the liter price of gasoline, pump prices have been updated and gasoline prices in major cities have exceeded 80 TL.
Current Fuel Prices
The 3.20 TL increase in the liter price of gasoline has been reflected at the pump prices starting today.
With the hike, fuel signs across Turkey have changed once again and the new figures have come into effect.
Latest Situation in Major Cities
In Istanbul, the liter price of gasoline exceeded the 80 TL level, rising to 80.12 TL.
In Ankara and Izmir, liter prices climbed above 81 TL, reaching 81.25 TL and 81.52 TL, respectively.
Global Oil Markets
Reciprocal retaliations between the US and Iran have increased volatility in global oil markets.
The halting of ship traffic in the Strait of Hormuz reduced shipments and drove prices upward.
Previous Price Increases
Prior to this hike applied to gasoline on September 12, 2026, the last major increase had taken place on Friday, September 4, 2026.
On that date, an increase of 2.57 TL was applied to gasoline and approximately 7.79 TL to diesel.
