6 Suspects Arrested in Fund Investigation, Bringing Total Number of Detainees to 51

Six suspects taken into custody in the fund investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office were arrested. With this development, the total number of detainees within the scope of the investigation rose to 51.

New Arrests in the Investigation

Within the scope of the fund investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 6 detained suspects were arrested, and 2 suspects were released under judicial control conditions.

With these latest steps taken, the total number of detainees within the framework of the investigation reached 51 people.

Liquidation Process and Operations

The Capital Markets Board (SPK) included 131 investment funds belonging to 7 portfolio management companies in the liquidation process on September 17.

Within the scope of the third wave operation, 12 people connected to transactions in the Pusula Holding system were identified.

Confiscation of Assets

Within the ongoing investigation, the assets of 11 people, including Tera Yatırım Holding Chairman of the Board Emre Tezmen and Pusula Portföy Yönetimi AŞ Chairman of the Board Muhammed Yarız, were confiscated.

Official Statements and Disinformation Denial

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek announced to the public that judicial proceedings were initiated against a total of 76 suspects.

The Presidency's Directorate of Communications Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM) denied claims that the investigation threatened the Turkish economy.
