The Aegean Exporters' Association of Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds, and Products participated in the America’s Food & Beverage Show held in Miami to increase its export share in the US market and announced that they aim to raise the sector's exports to the $1 billion level.

Strategic Participation in the Miami Fair

The Aegean Exporters' Association of Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds, and Products took part in the America’s Food & Beverage Show held in Miami, together with ten exporting companies within the scope of the UR-GE project they conduct. Establishing business connections with international buyers at the fair, the companies had the chance to closely examine the dynamics of the market.

Upward Trend and Targets in Exports

Muhammet Öztürk, Coordinator President of the Aegean Exporters' Associations and Chairman of the Board of the Association, stated that Turkey's sectoral exports to the US recorded a significant increase in 2025. Öztürk noted that they aim to maintain this momentum and push total sectoral exports above $1 billion.

Promotional Activities with Turkish Tastes

Within the scope of the fair, a special tasting and promotional event was organized under the Turkish Tastes project. Thanks to the event, the areas of use of Turkish food products in different cuisines were conveyed in detail to international industry professionals.

Retail and Supermarket Inspections

Delegation members visited major supermarket chains in the region to observe consumer trends in the US food retail market on-site. Through these inspections, the current position of Turkish food products in the market was comprehensively evaluated.
