The Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency is launching the Alo 193 Joint Damage Notification Center as of September 1, 2026, against organized entities that pressure citizens who have traffic accidents through persistent calls.

New measure against organized calls

The Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency has taken action against organized entities that pressure citizens involved in traffic accidents through persistent calls from call centers and make a habit of collecting powers of attorney.

Alo 193 hotline becomes operational

The Alo 193 Joint Damage Notification Center, which will enable citizens to conduct transactions directly through a secure channel, will officially become operational as of September 1, 2026, and allow all damage transactions to be carried out from a single center.

Transparent structure and single-source management of processes

The system aims to prevent the need to communicate with different insurance companies individually and to create a more transparent structure in depreciation and compensation processes.

In the center, which will be put into service after technical preparations are completed, damage notifications for traffic and casco insurance will be accepted in the first phase.

Free and secure support

Accident victims will be able to initiate all processes related to vehicle damage from a single place by simply calling the number 193.

Ayhan Çalık, President of the Insurance Agents Association, stated that the hotline will provide completely free service and citizens will be able to receive direct support at the time of the accident.
