Applications for Istanbul Rental Social Housing Project Have Begun
In the first phase initiated to provide low-income citizens with access to affordable housing, 1,071 residences will find their owners.
Applications for the first phase of the rental social housing project carried out in Istanbul by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change have started to be accepted via e-Government.
Application Process and Dates
Applications for the first phase of the project, prepared to facilitate access to housing at affordable prices for low-income citizens in Istanbul, will be held between September 14 and 25.
Candidates will be able to submit their applications via e-Government through the Housing and Workplace Application service of the Housing Development Administration (TOKI), and no application fee will be charged.
Housing Distribution and Regions
In the first phase of the project, a total of 1,071 residences will be allocated to citizens meeting the conditions for a period of 3 years, and deliveries will be made in October.
The residences will be located in various districts, namely Başakşehir, Gaziosmanpaşa, Beyoğlu, Güngören, Maltepe, Tuzla, Kartal, Ataşehir, Sancaktepe, Ümraniye, Üsküdar, and Arnavutköy.
Conditions and Rent Prices
In the project where rent prices will start from 10 thousand liras per month, the residences will be rented out at prices below regional market rates and will include types ranging from 1+1 to 4+1.
Applicants are required not to have a registered residence on the title deed within the borders of Turkey, not to have previously signed a TOKI contract, and their household net income must not exceed 100 thousand liras.
