Banking Sector's Loan Volume Reaches 28.4 Trillion Lira
According to Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency data, the total loan volume recorded a significant increase compared to the previous week.
The total loan volume of the banking sector increased by 145 billion 595 million liras compared to the previous period in the week ending September 25, rising to 28 trillion 402 billion 282 million liras.
Change in Loan Volume
According to the weekly bulletin data published by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency, a marked increase was experienced in the sector's total loan volume. The total loan volume, which was 28 trillion 237 billion 686 million liras the previous week, reached the level of 28 trillion 402 billion 282 million liras as of September 25.
Deposit Increase and Sectoral Data
Alongside the loan volume, an increase was also recorded in the banking sector's total deposit amount. The sector's total deposits increased by 122 billion 81 million liras on a weekly basis, rising to 32 trillion 675 billion 352 million liras.
