New Sports Complex Being Built in Çanakkale's Kalkım Town
Field inspections have been completed for the construction of new facilities planned to increase the participation of youth in sporting activities in the town of Kalkım.
Work is set to begin next week on a modern sports complex project prepared to strengthen the sports infrastructure in the town of Kalkım, attached to Çanakkale's Yenice district.
Field Inspections Carried Out
Official inspections were conducted at the project area prior to the works to be implemented within the scope of the Kalkım Town Sports Complex Project.
Kalkım Mayor Zeynep Çelik, contractor company officials, and Çanakkale Provincial Youth and Sports Director Ömer Kalkan came together at the site.
Comprehensive Facilities Will Be Established
When the project is completed, modern areas will be created in the town where sporting activities can be carried out in various branches, primarily football.
Within the framework of the investment, the capacity and usage opportunities of the facilities to be brought to the region will be increased.
Indoor Sports Hall and Field
One of the striking parts of the Kalkım Sports Complex Project will be a 250-person indoor sports hall.
Additionally, the project will include a regulation-sized football field, a stand to serve the football field, and locker rooms.
Starting Next Week
Kalkım Mayor Zeynep Çelik announced that the works to be carried out within the scope of the sports complex will begin next week.
Çelik wished that the project would be beneficial to all the people of Kalkım, the youth, and the sports community.
