Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA Achieves Successful Range Test with UAV-300 Missile
Developed by Baykar, the AKINCI TİHA successfully destroyed a target at a range exceeding 250 kilometers using the Roketsan-made UAV-300 supersonic ballistic missile.
Developed with national resources by Baykar, the AKINCI TİHA hit a target over the Black Sea with pinpoint accuracy during a firing test conducted with the Roketsan-made UAV-300 supersonic ballistic missile.
Test Flight Extending from Çorlu to the Black Sea
Taking off from the Çorlu Flight Training and Test Center in Tekirdağ, the AKINCI TİHA proceeded to the designated test area over the Black Sea.
During the test activity carried out off the coast of Sinop, the target located on the sea was hit with pinpoint accuracy by the ammunition.
A New Phase in Offensive Capabilities
Having previously completed the integration of UAV-122 and UAV-230 supersonic missiles, the UAV was successfully equipped with the UAV-300 ammunition.
With this integration work, AKINCI's long-range offensive capabilities were elevated to the highest level.
Export Successes and Agreements
According to statements made by the company, Baykar continues to maintain its leadership in the global UCAV market.
To date, export contracts have been signed with a total of 39 different countries, including 36 countries for the Bayraktar TB2 and 16 countries for the AKINCI TİHA.
