Following the removal of the back sponsor Tera logo from the jerseys during Besiktas's UEFA Europa League match and the investigations conducted regarding the holding, a 10 percent drop was recorded in the club's shares.

Sponsor Logo Removed

It was determined that the back sponsor Tera logo did not appear on the football players' jerseys in Besiktas's match against Marseille last night within the scope of the UEFA Europa League.

It was known that this logo was present on the jerseys in the previous Zalgiris Kauno match and the Erzurumspor match dated September 11, 2026.

Stock Share Lost Value

While Besiktas shares closed at 2.36 lira on September 16, 2026, they dropped to the 2.13 lira level the following day, experiencing a 10 percent loss in a single day.

These developments led to notable volatility in the markets and among investors.

Sponsorship Process and Agreement

In statements made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) by Besiktas Football Investments, a two-year jersey back sponsorship agreement starting from the 2026-2027 season had been announced.

The signing ceremony was held on August 17, 2026, at Tüpraş Stadium with the participation of club president Serdal Adalı and Tera Holding Chairman Emre Tezmen.

Investigations Directed at the Holding

The Capital Markets Board applied measures by imposing trading restrictions on various investment funds due to allegations of irregular transactions.

Share Sale Application
