The BIST 100 index showed an increase of 11.02 points compared to the previous close. As a result of the transactions carried out throughout the day, the total trading volume was recorded as 99.6 billion liras.

Gains and Losses on a Sectoral Basis

Developments in Global Markets

Purchases towards artificial intelligence companies and news that the US and Iran are working on a phased plan to end the war positively supported risk appetite.

High oil prices and the US 10-year bond yield remaining above 5 percent were among the factors limiting the upward trend in the markets.

Expectations of Market Analysts

Analysts stated that economic confidence index, unemployment rate, and foreign trade balance data will be monitored domestically in the coming week.

Abroad, it was stated that a busy data agenda, primarily manufacturing PMI worldwide and non-farm employment in the US, will be followed.

In the same analysis, it was noted that the 12,800 and 12,700 point levels are support points for the index.

Operation Developments in Bursa

On the other hand, it was reported that 12 people were detained within the scope of the investigation regarding a 1.4 billion lira cooperative fraud in an operation carried out in Bursa.
