Capital Markets Board Extends Investment Funds Liquidation Period

The maximum period for converting assets into cash and making payments during the liquidation process of investment funds has been extended.

With a new decision made by the Capital Markets Board, the maximum period granted for converting the assets of investment funds into cash and making payments to investors during the liquidation process has been increased from three months to six months.

Change in the Liquidation Period

The Capital Markets Board has made an important amendment to the procedures and principles regarding the liquidation process of investment funds.

As a result of the regulation, the maximum period granted for converting the assets of funds to be liquidated into cash and making payments to investors was increased from 3 months to 6 months.

Related Portfolio Companies

The decision for the period extension concerns a total of seven different portfolio management companies and the funds within these companies.

Among the companies within the scope are Tera Portföy, A1 Capital Portföy, Atlas Portföy, Bulls Portföy, Hedef Portföy, Pardus Portföy, and Pusula Portföy.

Authorized Banks

Official bank assignments on a company basis to carry out the liquidation process have also been completed.

In this context, Türkiye İş Bankası was authorized for Tera Portföy funds, while Ziraat Bankası was appointed for the funds of the other six portfolio management companies.
