CBRT Bank Loans Tendency Survey Results Published

Developments in Business Loans
According to banks' evaluations regarding the business loans they extended, the tightening in applied standards continued to weaken.
It is anticipated that the tightening in standards applied to business loans will be replaced by loosening in the upcoming period.
SME and Large Enterprise Loans
While the tightening in standards applied to SMEs was replaced by limited loosening, this loosening is expected to continue gaining strength.
As for loans granted to large enterprises, the tightening tendency continued to weaken, with a return to loosening expected in the next quarter.
Maturity and Currency-Based Loans
The tightening in standards applied to short- and long-term loans has been replaced by loosening, and this tendency is expected to continue.
While standards for Turkish lira loans loosened, the tightening tendency in FX loans continued to weaken.
Retail Loans and Demand Status
While the tightening in housing loan standards continued to strengthen, vehicle loan standards remained largely unchanged.
Processes involving the decrease in demand for housing and vehicle loans are being monitored alongside various expectations.
Outlook for Funding Conditions
Evaluations pointing to tightening in domestic funding conditions were replaced by evaluations pointing to loosening.
It was observed that the tightening tendency in foreign funding conditions continued to weaken.
