Central Bank Announces September Manufacturing Capacity Utilization Rate
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey announced the results of the Business Tendency Survey conducted in September with the participation of 1,982 workplaces.
According to the September data announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, the capacity utilization rate in the manufacturing industry overall showed an increase compared to the previous month.
Scope of the Survey Study
The capacity utilization rate data for September were compiled through a detailed evaluation of the responses provided by a total of 1,982 workplaces to the Business Tendency Survey.
Change in the Unadjusted Rate
As a result of the calculations, the seasonally unadjusted capacity utilization rate in the manufacturing industry overall recorded an increase of 0.7 points in September compared to the previous month.
Following this increase, the unadjusted rate reached 74.2 percent and took its place among market data.
Seasonally Adjusted Data
Looking at the seasonally adjusted capacity utilization rate, it was observed that there was an increase of 0.6 points in September compared to the previous month.
Said seasonally adjusted rate stood at 74.1 percent in the September period.
