The world's leading central bank executives will come together at the Istanbul Economy Forum, to be held in Istanbul on October 8-9, to discuss inflation, monetary policy, and the global economic outlook.
Preparations for the Istanbul Economy Forum
In accordance with the program prepared by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, the world's leading central bank executives are meeting in Istanbul. The meeting will be held on October 8-9.
International Participants and Names
Federal Reserve Board Governor Christopher Waller, Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey, and Bank for International Settlements General Manager Pablo Hernández de Cos will attend the meeting. In addition, Bank of France Governor Emmanuel Moulin is among the guests.
Broadly Participated Central Bank Summit
The governors of the central banks of Greece, the Netherlands, Hungary, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan are also expected to take part in the forum. In total, 16 central bank governors and 8 deputy governors will be present at the summit.

During the two-day forum, policies tracking the global economy, monetary policy in an environment of uncertainty, debt dynamics, and the impacts of artificial intelligence and digital innovation on macroeconomic policies will be addressed.
