Reflecting the development processes of Anatolian capital, the roots of Çetin Cıvata date back to a hardware and ironmongery shop that started operating in Malatya in 1913. The family moved to Istanbul in 1975 for the education of the children and redirected their activities toward the industrial sector.
Production Starting with Electric Poles
Planning to establish a flour mill by purchasing a closed factory with its partners in 1975, the family started bolt production driven by circumstances. During the period when Turkey transitioned to the interconnected electricity system, bolts were produced for electric poles.

Starting to export to Balkan countries from the second half of the nineties, the company expanded its field of activity over time to important markets such as Germany, Spain, and the United States of America.
