Civil Servant and Retiree January Raises Calculated According to New Medium-Term Program
January raise rates shaped by the new Medium-Term Program inflation forecasts are starting to become clear for SSK, Bağ-Kur, and civil servant retirees.
The salary raises that civil servants and retirees will receive in January 2027 have been recalculated in line with the inflation forecasts in the new Medium-Term Program.
Medium-Term Program Inflation Forecast
The announcement of the 2026 year-end inflation forecast as 28.4 percent within the scope of the new Medium-Term Program directly changed the inflation calculations for the second half of the year and salary increase expectations.
SSK and Bağ-Kur Retiree Salary Increase
SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees receive raises every year at the rate of inflation realized in the previous six-month period. If inflation is 9.04 percent in the second half of 2026, the January raise will also be determined by this rate.
Civil Servant and Civil Servant Retiree Raise
For civil servants and civil servant retirees, the collective bargaining raise and the inflation difference will be reflected in January salaries. According to the calculations made, the salary increase for civil servants and civil servant retirees in January is expected to be 7 percent.
Expectations in the Salary and Pension Table
In the event of a 7 percent raise applied in January, the lowest civil servant salary will reach the level of 75,140 TL. For civil servant retirees, the lowest pension is projected to rise to 33,734 TL with a 7 percent increase.
