Following strong data in the employment market, rising inflation expectations, and statements by Fed Chair Kevin Warsh, all eyes have turned to the interest rate decision to be made by the Fed. While activity in stock markets, foreign exchange, commodities, and bonds continues globally, US Treasury yields have stabilized around the 5 percent level.

With the easing of selling pressure in the bond market and oil prices losing momentum, risk appetite increased in Asian markets on the new day.
While Japan's foreign trade deficit widened due to energy costs, indices in the region recorded gains near the close.

While the BIST 100 index on Borsa İstanbul completed the day with a 2.41 percent loss in value, the dollar/TL is trading at 48.6520 in the interbank market.
Analysts stated that the domestic housing price index and the overseas Fed interest rate decision are being monitored, and shared support and resistance levels for the BIST 100.
