Economists' August Inflation Expectations Announced
AA Finance's August inflation expectation survey, conducted with the participation of 20 economists, has been concluded.
Ahead of the August inflation data to be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the results of the expectation survey organized by AA Finance with the participation of 20 economists have been shared with the public.
Average Monthly Inflation Expectation
The average of the monthly inflation expectations foreseen by the economists participating in the survey for August stood at 1.86 percent.
The forecast range of the economists for the period in question was between 1.25 percent and 2.10 percent.
Annual Inflation Forecasts
According to the average expectations, the annual inflation rate, which was recorded at 31.75 percent in July, is expected to recede to the level of 31.52 percent in August.
Year-End CPI Projections
The average of the economists' year-end consumer inflation expectations was calculated as 29.49 percent. The Consumer Price Index had registered an increase of 1.78 percent in July.
