Conveying the measures taken to prevent commercial lawsuits from dragging on, Gürlek announced that commercial courts in Istanbul have been gathered under a single roof.
He stated that the target duration practice has been strengthened and steps have been taken to prevent unnecessary expert witness examinations.
Expert Witness Examinations and Fight Against Criminal Organizations
Noting that expert witnesses will be consulted only on matters requiring technical expertise, Minister Gürlek stated that elements prolonging trials have been eliminated.
He emphasized that the fight against profit-driven criminal organizations that poison the economy will be continued resolutely.
Arbitration and Legal Guarantees
Stating that arbitration and alternative dispute resolution methods will be activated, Gürlek said that the legal guarantees of investors will be further increased.
He reported that legislation will be developed according to the needs of the day and reform efforts will continue.
