President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with his economic team at the Palace regarding fund investigations and the ongoing crisis to evaluate administrative measures aimed at protecting capital markets.

While developments within the scope of the fund investigation maintain their place on Turkey's agenda, a critical economic meeting was held at the Palace.

The meeting, led by Erdogan, lasted approximately 3 hours and concluded around 17:00.
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek attended the summit.
Institution Heads at the Table
The heads of Borsa Istanbul, the Capital Markets Board, and the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency were also present at the critical meeting.
Latest Status in the Investigation
It was officially reported that a total of 56 people have been arrested so far within the scope of the investigations carried out regarding the fund scandal.
