Financial Intermediary Institution Statistics for 2025 Announced
Data for the financial intermediary institutions sector in Turkey for 2025 has been published, and all details regarding the statistics have been shared with the public.
According to the 2025 financial intermediary institution statistics announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the total number of enterprises operating in the sector was recorded as 22,113.
Number of Enterprises and Sectoral Distribution
According to the data published by the Turkish Statistical Institute, a total of 22,113 enterprises operated in the financial intermediary institutions sector in 2025.
There were 273 enterprises providing financial service activities, 74 in insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds, and 21,766 enterprises in auxiliary activities.
Value Added and Production Value
The value added at factor cost by these institutions amounted to 2 trillion 993 billion lira, and the production value reached 4 trillion 610 billion lira.
Compared to the previous year, the value added at factor cost increased by 70.9 percent and the production value showed an increase of 61.2 percent.
Number of Employees and Personnel Costs
The annual average number of employees in financial intermediary institutions, which was 352,597 in 2024, rose to 360,745 in 2025.
While the total personnel cost throughout the year was calculated as 712 billion 175 million lira, paid female personnel stood at 174,949 and male personnel at 176,328.
Tangible Fixed Assets Investments
According to the official data released, the total purchase value of tangible fixed asset investments in the relevant period was 157 billion 495 million lira.
