Full Transition to E-Ticket Era in Train Travel Starting September 1
In line with the new decision aimed at strengthening the digital infrastructure in railway transport, the use of physical tickets will be discontinued, facilitating digital access.
TCDD Taşımacılık announced that, in line with e-document transformation efforts, a complete transition to the e-ticket system will be implemented on train services starting September 1.
How to Access the E-Ticket System?
Under the new practice, passengers will use the 'Journey Information' email sent to them after completing their ticket purchase.
Passengers who click on the link in the PDF document included in the email will be able to easily access their e-tickets digitally.
Goals of the Digital Transformation
This step implemented by TCDD Taşımacılık aims to reduce paper usage.
