While activity continued in the gold markets on September 18, 2026, spot gold rose to $4,346.65. With this development, gram gold finds buyers domestically at 6,826 TL, quarter gold at 11,146 TL, and Republic gold at 44,435 TL levels.

Gold Levels in the Global Market

Spot gold recorded a 0.2 percent increase in the markets and climbed to $4,346.65. US gold futures, on the other hand, showed a 0.3 percent decline, dropping to $4,385.70.

According to current market data, gram gold is trading at 6,826 TL, quarter gold at 11,146 TL, and Republic gold at 44,435 TL. Additionally, ounce gold is at the level of $4,359.

Prices of Other Gold Types

As for other types of gold in the market, half gold meets buyers at 22,289 TL, full gold at 44,462 TL, and gremse gold at the level of 111,497 TL.

Impact of the Dollar and Oil

Oil prices losing about 1 percent of their value and the weakening of the dollar were among the main factors supporting gold prices.

Experts' Market Assessments

Pepperstone Research Strategist Ahmad Assiri stated that the drop in oil prices could pull down inflation and interest rate expectations, while geopolitical tensions could increase recession risks.

Central Banks and Forecasts

While the US Federal Reserve's interest rate decisions and the moves of global central banks affect the markets, Goldman Sachs maintained its year-end 2027 gold price forecast at the $5,400 level.

Other Precious Metals

Along with gold, there was also activity in other precious metals. Spot silver increased by 0.7 percent to $65.61, platinum rose by 1 percent to $1,785.80, and palladium reached $1,294.41 with a 0.2 percent increase.
