ING Global Türkiye'de enflasyonun gerilemesini bekliyor

ING Global shared its September inflation forecasts for the Turkish economy. The bank reported that while it expects an increase in monthly inflation, a drop in the annual rate is projected thanks to the base effect.

September Inflation Expectations

In the informational note prepared by ING Global, it was stated that Turkey's monthly inflation for September is expected to increase by 2 percent.

Monthly Outlook and Items

The institution noted that the moderate trend in monthly inflation will continue. It was emphasized that this outlook will stem from food and education items despite the increase in transportation prices.

Base Effect in Annual Inflation

It was projected that the anticipated decline in annual inflation will occur with the support of the base effect created by the high levels in the same month of last year.
