Hosted by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey on October 8-9 at the Istanbul Finance Center, the Istanbul Economy Forum brings together numerous central bank governors and policymakers from around the world.
Scope of the Forum and Participants
Organized by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, the Istanbul Economy Forum brings together central bank governors and high-level policymakers from all over the world in Istanbul.
With the participation of 2 ministers, 16 central bank governors, and 8 deputy central bank governors, the organization aims to strengthen international policy dialogue and cooperation.
Prominent Figures Will Participate
Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek and Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey Governor Fatih Karahan are taking part in the internationally prominent summit.
Additionally, Federal Reserve Board Member Christopher Waller and Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey are among the key figures attending the forum.
