July 2026 turnover indices announced in Turkey
According to data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, total turnover in July recorded an increase on both an annual and monthly basis.
The Turkish Statistical Institute shared the July 2026 Turnover Indices data with the public. According to the released data, total turnover increased by 30.2% annually and 1.7% monthly.
General Turnover Increase in July
The July 2026 Turnover Indices published by the Turkish Statistical Institute revealed the general activity in the economy. A significant increase was recorded in the index data covering the total of industry, construction, trade, and services sectors.
Sectoral Developments on an Annual Basis
The total turnover index of the industry, construction, trade, and services sectors rose by 30.2% on an annual basis in July 2026. When sub-sectors were examined, industry recorded an annual increase of 31.5%, construction 35.8%, trade 27.7%, and the services sector 34.5%.
Sectoral Changes on a Monthly Basis
The total turnover index increased by 1.7% in July compared to the previous month. During this period, while the industry sector grew by 3.0%, the construction sector by 9.2%, and the services sector by 2.5% on a monthly basis, the trade turnover index remained unchanged.
