July Turnover Indices Announced: Annual Increase Reached 30.2 Percent
According to TURKSTAT data, the total turnover index covering industry, construction, trade, and service sectors rose by 1.7 percent on a monthly basis in July.
According to the July turnover index data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the seasonally and calendar-adjusted total turnover index increased by 1.7 percent compared to the previous month.

The turnover index data for July announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute revealed the overall economic activity.
The calendar-adjusted total turnover index, covering all industry, construction, trade, and service sectors, increased by 30.2 percent annually in July.
Increases in the Industry and Construction Sectors
In the industry sector, the calendar-adjusted turnover index increased by 31.5 percent annually in July, while recording a 3 percent increase on a monthly basis.
In the construction sector, the calendar-adjusted turnover index rose by 35.8 percent annually, while the seasonally and calendar-adjusted index increased by 9.2 percent compared to June.
Trade and Service Sector Data
The calendar-adjusted trade turnover index recorded an increase of 27.7 percent in July compared to the same month of the previous year.
In the service sector, the calendar-adjusted turnover index increased by 34.5 percent annually, and the seasonally and calendar-adjusted index rose by 2.5 percent on a monthly basis.
