Labor and Social Security Minister Işıkhan: 500 Youth Will Specialize in the KOVAN Field in One Year
Labor and Social Security Minister Vedat Işıkhan announced that with the program implemented in cooperation with Havelsan and İŞKUR, 500 young people will be trained as specialists in the KOVAN field within a year.
Speaking at the signing ceremony for the KOVAN Enterprise Resource Planning Specialist Training Program held at the Havelsan Conference Hall, Labor and Social Security Minister Vedat Işıkhan announced that the goal is to train 500 university graduate youth as specialists in this field within a year.
Defense Industry and Qualified Employment
Labor and Social Security Minister Vedat Işıkhan stated that the defense industry is the lifeblood and a matter of survival for a country.
He expressed that they are working to train the qualified human resources needed by the sector and to bring youth together with employment.
Details of KOVAN Specialist Training
The program, which will train specialists for KOVAN, the national business management system developed by Havelsan, will cover university graduate youth.
Trainees will receive practical training in the use, installation, and adaptation of the KOVAN system to institutional processes.
Support Provided to Trainees
During the training period, a daily allowance of 1,079 liras will be paid to the trainees by İŞKUR.
General health insurance as well as work accident and occupational disease insurance premiums will be covered by İŞKUR.
Monitoring the Employment Process
The transition of young people who successfully complete their training into employment within the defense industry ecosystem will be monitored by the institutions.
The protocol signing ceremony was held with the participation of İŞKUR General Manager Samet Güneş and Havelsan General Manager Mehmet Akif Nacar.
