Manufacturing Industry Financing Support Applications Begin on September 1

Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Kacır announced during the Manufacturing Industry Financing Support Promotion Program that applications for the 250 billion lira financing package will begin as of September 1.

Emphasis on Production and Development

Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Kacır stated that the path to permanent prosperity, sustainable development, and full independence goes through production. He expressed that countries capable of converting their resources into production and technology increase their weight on the global stage.

Increase in Industrial Production

Minister Kacır conveyed that thanks to implemented policies, the industrial production index has increased 3.5 times in the last 23 years. He noted that Turkey ranks among Europe's leading producers in many fields, from solar panels to commercial vehicles.

Economic Growth Figures

Emphasizing that Turkey is the country capable of competitively exporting the widest variety of products across a vast geography, Kacır stated that the national income has risen from 238 billion dollars to 1.6 trillion dollars through the production-focused economic model.

New Incentive Programs

Stating that investments are strongly supported with the new incentive system enacted by the approval of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Kacır provided information about the HIT-30 program and the Investment Commitment Advance Loan.

Financing and Employment Support

Kacır announced that the per-employee support amount offered to businesses in the textile, apparel, leather, and furniture sectors has been increased to 3,500 lira and that large-scale companies have been included in the program.

250 Billion Lira Package

Stating that the financing leg of the program offers favorable loan opportunities of up to 50 million liras to SMEs and large-scale enterprises, Kacır announced that applications for the 250 billion lira financing package can be made starting September 1.
