Medium-Term Program Prepared for the 2027-2029 Period Published in the Official Gazette
Entering into force with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the new budget roadmap shapes the main objectives of economic and fiscal policies.
In accordance with the communiqué published with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Medium-Term Program covering the years 2027-2029 has taken its place in the Official Gazette and started to guide the central government budget preparation efforts.
Main Objectives and Goals
Ensuring macroeconomic and financial stability in the new period, maintaining fiscal discipline, and establishing price stability were positioned among the main objectives of the program.
Emphasis on Savings and Efficiency
It was stated that savings and efficiency in public expenditures would be brought to the forefront, and public resources would be used more effectively, economically, and efficiently.
Preparation of Budget Proposals
It was noted that the relevant public administrations would prepare their budget proposals within this framework and the roadmap of the new period would be shaped accordingly.
