Message of stability and growth given in the economy
Stating that the Turkish economy continues its uninterrupted growth process, officials drew attention to the increase in production and export figures.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, speaking at the closing of MÜSİAD EXPO, emphasized that the Turkish economy has been growing uninterruptedly for the last twenty-four quarters and shared targets for production, investment, employment, and exports.
Uninterrupted growth process
It was announced that the Turkish economy grew by 3.7 percent last year, recording growth of 2.6 percent in the first quarter of 2026 and 2.3 percent in the second quarter. With these data, it was stated that the economy has experienced uninterrupted growth for the last 24 quarters.
Increase in exports and income
It was stated that the per capita national income reached 18,103 dollars in 2025. In the same period, total exports reached 273.2 billion dollars, while in August 2026, exports increased by 8.1 percent to 23.5 billion dollars.
Four pillars of the economy
Reiterating the determination to keep Turkey on the path of growth and stability, it was reaffirmed that the foundation of economic policies is built upon the pillars of production, investment, employment, and exports.
