Minister Göktaş announced: Birth assistance payments deposited into mothers' accounts

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, during her visit to Mardin for various engagements, announced that the birth assistance payments have been completed. Minister Göktaş stated that a total of 25 billion liras has been paid for 1 million 278 thousand 581 children to date.

Visit to Mardin and Investments Made

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş visited the Mardin Governor's Office to meet with Governor Tuncay Akkoyun, stating that they have provided around 40.1 billion liras in investments to the city over the last 24 years.

Social Support Payments and Figures

It was announced that under the Social and Economic Support scope, 261 million liras of resources were transferred in Mardin in 2026 to support 3 thousand 988 children, while 1.16 billion liras of resources were provided to 11 thousand 1 people through home care assistance.

Family and Youth Fund Activities

Stating that support is provided for young people's dreams of establishing a home, it was reported that 302 thousand 972 young couples nationwide have applied to the Family and Youth Fund, and 7 thousand 600 couples have been supported in Mardin.

Details of Birth Assistance Payments

Stating that the August payments have been deposited into mothers' accounts, Minister Göktaş noted that regular payments are made to 745 thousand 150 children every month within the scope of regular payments that continue until the child turns 5 years old.
