Removal of Regulatory Burdens
Gürlek expressed that their duty is to systematically eliminate historical regulatory burdens on the real economy and pressures arising from legal loopholes.
Economic Security and Fight Against Criminal Organizations
Emphasizing that economic independence is an inseparable part of national independence, Gürlek noted that the security of the economic order is one of the primary responsibilities of the rule of law.
Gürlek recorded that the fight will continue against profit-driven criminal organizations that poison the economy and structures that confront producers through unlawful means.
Commercial Courts and Target Duration Practice
Stating that they are aware that the prolonged duration of commercial lawsuits is one of the major problems of the business world, Minister Gürlek expressed that they have gathered the commercial courts in Istanbul under a single roof.
Arbitration and Mediation Regulations
Minister Gürlek reminded that on May 29, 2026, they established the Department of Arbitration within the General Directorate of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Justice.
He also conveyed that they are working on new regulations regarding the mediation system and the institution of expert witness.
