According to the market inspection results for the January-September period of 2026 announced by the Ministry of Trade, a total of 2.6 billion TL in administrative fines was issued due to non-compliant practices.

Within the scope of the efforts carried out by the Ministry of Trade, hundreds of thousands of companies and millions of products were subjected to inspections in the first 9 months of 2026.
Internal Trade and Excessive Pricing Fines
Numerous punitive actions were applied due to unfair commercial practices such as hoarding and excessive pricing during the inspections conducted by the General Directorate of Internal Trade.
Fines Applied on a Sectoral Basis
Millions of liras in administrative fines were issued due to non-compliance with regulations detected in various sectors such as automotive, real estate, and jewelry.
Consumer Rights and Contract Inspections
The General Directorate of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance carried out comprehensive inspections targeting consumer rights, primarily focusing on contracts and advertisements.
