The 21st MÜSİAD EXPO, organized by the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association, aims to generate billions of dollars in commercial volume by bringing together thousands of professional visitors and purchasing delegations from over a hundred countries.

Big Goal at the Fair

The Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association met with members of the press ahead of the 21st MÜSİAD EXPO and shared the details of the organization. Organized with the motto "Global Trade Is Here," the fair will host over 50,000 professional visitors from 114 countries and more than 400 qualified purchasing delegations from 70 countries. Through B2B meetings and commercial diplomacy contacts, a trade volume of at least $5 billion is targeted.

Busy Program and Events

While the opening will take place on the first day of the four-day program with the participation of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, the 29th International Business Forum and the MÜSİAD World Presidents Meeting will be held. Within the scope of the events, B2B meetings coordinated by the Ministry of Trade, a gala dinner, the Arctic Forum, and a Diplomatic Missions Reception will be organized. Signing ceremonies for international cooperation agreements will be held on the following days of the program.

Economy and Growth Evaluations

Making evaluations regarding the Turkish economy, officials stated that production capacity and investments must be protected during the disinflation process. While emphasizing the importance of growth, inflation, and export targets set for the coming period, it was stated that consumption prepares the growth of today, and investment prepares the growth of tomorrow.

Emphasis on Exports and Technology

It was announced that July exports reached $25.6 billion, and the share of the manufacturing industry in exports reached 94.4 percent. Drawing attention to the fact that the share of high-tech products remains at 4.4 percent, it was stated that Turkey's future competitive power will depend on the fields of software, R&D, and engineering.
