New arrests made in capital markets transactions investigation
Eight of the suspects who appeared before the judge in the fund and capital market investigation conducted under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office were arrested.
Within the framework of comprehensive investigations into capital markets transactions in Istanbul, 8 of the 21 detained suspects were arrested, while 2 were released under judicial control conditions.
Progression of the Investigation and Referral Process
Investigations initiated regarding transactions in the capital markets by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Bureau of Investigation for Terrorist Financing and Money Laundering are being carried out meticulously.
The prosecutor's office statements of the 21 suspects who were detained and referred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan were completed, and they were sent to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for arrest.
Arrest and Judicial Control Decisions
As a result of the evaluations made by the criminal judgeship of peace, 8 of the 21 suspects were arrested and sent to prison.
The court panel ruled that two suspects within the scope of the investigation be released by applying judicial control measures.
Ongoing Judicial Processes
The judicial proceedings in the criminal judgeship of peace for the other 11 suspects named in the investigation file are still ongoing.
