In the weekly bulletin published by the Capital Markets Board, debt instrument and lease certificate issuances of numerous companies were approved, while priority criteria for initial public offerings were also clarified.
Debt Instrument and Lease Certificate Approvals
The Capital Markets Board found the debt instrument issuance applications of a total of seven companies appropriate within the scope of its published weekly bulletin.
Among the approved applications were high-amount financing steps consisting of various foreign currencies and Turkish liras by seven companies.
Individuals and Institutions Fined with Administrative Monetary Penalties
As a result of the latest inspections carried out by the Board, supervisory activities in the markets continued without slowing down.
As a result of the evaluations made, administrative monetary penalties exceeding twenty-six million liras in total were imposed on two real persons and four legal entities.
New Priority Criteria in Initial Public Offering Applications
The Board Principle Decision Regarding the Criteria to be Given Priority in Concluding Applications for the Initial Public Offering of Shares was officially published.
Within the framework of the determined rules, priority in the application ranking will be provided for companies that meet certain conditions.
Local Production and Public Dominance Elements
Being the first company to be traded on the stock exchange in the city where its headquarters is located and where it generates a significant portion of its revenue was among the priorities.
In addition, situations where the management dominance of the company is in public institutions or relevant ministries will also be evaluated within the scope of priority.
