New Limits Determined for Priority Financing Certificate in Manufacturing Industry Investments
According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, an investment requirement of at least 100 million TL for manufacturing industry investments and 1 billion TL for strategic projects has been introduced to obtain a Priority Financing Certificate.
With a new regulation published in the Official Gazette, the financing support conditions for manufacturing industry and strategic investments have been clarified. According to the amendment, an investment limit of at least 100 million TL will apply in the manufacturing industry, and 1 billion TL in strategic projects.
Investment Amounts and Certificate Requirements
According to the regulation published in the Official Gazette, a Priority Financing Certificate can be obtained with an investment requirement of at least 100 million TL, including R&D expenditures, in manufacturing industry investments.
In strategic projects, while the lower limit for the investment amount has been determined as 1 billion TL, investors will be required to obtain this certificate from the Ministry before applying to banks for financing.
Application Process and Evaluation Criteria
Applications made by investors will be scored according to determined objective criteria, and as a result of the evaluation, certificates will be issued to projects receiving 50 points and above.
Within the scope of the system, investments to be made in strategic products, predetermined technology areas, and critical raw materials will also be evaluated in detail.
Scope of Incentives and Restrictions
Within the framework of the new regulation, investments benefiting from the relevant financing programs will not be provided with additional interest or profit share support within the scope of the incentive certificate due to the same financing usage.
