New Party MPs meet with tradespeople and party organization in Lüleburgaz

As part of their fieldwork, New Party MPs Gökçe Gökçen and Turan Taşkın Özer came together with the local party organization and tradespeople in Kırklareli's Lüleburgaz district to examine economic problems on site.
Visit to Lüleburgaz Began
The fieldwork in Kırklareli and its districts by New Party Istanbul MP Turan Taşkın Özer and Izmir MP Gökçe Gökçen continued on Friday, September 18, with a visit to the Lüleburgaz District Presidency.
New Party Kırklareli Provincial Chairman Bora Terzi and Lüleburgaz District Chairman Ali Can welcomed the MPs at the district office and accompanied them throughout the program.
Fieldwork Across 81 Provinces
Izmir MP Gökçe Gökçen announced to the public that fieldwork across all 81 provinces will be completed by the end of September with the participation of all MPs.
Touching upon political developments, Gökçe argued that the party's assets were seized and that this aimed to prevent them from becoming an alternative to the government.
Boosting Citizens' Hope
Istanbul MP Turan Taşkın Özer stated that the government wants to break the hopes of resisting segments of society and that they stand against this situation.
Özer emphasized that the most fundamental duty of politicians in the current political environment is to raise citizens' belief and hope in the future.
The Tradespeople's Woes Regarding Sales
Lüleburgaz tradespeople stated that they are going through a difficult period, noting that they close their days without making a single sale due to ongoing economic hardships.
While pharmacists said that requests for medications on credit have increased, it was stated that there is also a serious stagnation in sectors such as furniture and textiles.
Grievance Over Non-Election Visits
During the visits, tradespeople expressed their discomfort by stating that politicians only remember them during election periods.
In response to this grievance from the tradespeople, the MPs conveyed that they will continue to be in the field and listen to problems directly.
