Following fluctuations in global oil prices, a new discount expectation has emerged for the diesel group, and a significant drop has been projected effective from Tuesday, October 6.
Developments in the Oil Market
Fluctuations seen in oil prices continue to be directly reflected on fuel boards. Previously, a 2.22 TL discount had been applied to the liter price of diesel starting from midnight hours.
New Discount Expectation
According to information shared by journalist Olcay Aydilek, a new discount of 4.95 TL on diesel is expected to be effective as of Tuesday, October 6.
Expected New Price Levels
If the projected 4.95 TL discount is reflected at the pump, it is estimated that the liter price of diesel will drop to the level of 90.03 TL in Istanbul.
Metropolitan and Other Cities
Following the expected discount, the liter price of diesel is anticipated to be at levels of 91.13 TL in Ankara, 91.43 TL in Izmir, and 92.83 TL in eastern provinces.
