New Pricing Era Begins for WhatsApp Business Platform
WhatsApp, under Meta, has established a new pricing tariff for commercial messaging by medium and large enterprises in Kazakhstan.
Operating under Meta, WhatsApp has announced a per-message pricing decision for medium and large businesses using the WhatsApp Business Platform in Kazakhstan.
New Regulation in Kazakhstan
The new regulation implemented by Meta's WhatsApp is designed to cover medium and large-sized companies using the WhatsApp Business Platform via API in Kazakhstan.
Free Quota and Overage Fee
Businesses will continue to have the right to use up to 1,000 messages for free each month as part of their communications through automated messages, bulk notifications, and chatbots.
If this specified quota is exceeded, a fee of approximately $0.018, which is about 0.88 Turkish Liras, will be charged for each additional message sent.
Individual Users Excluded
This new pricing policy will definitely not cover individual users who use the WhatsApp platform for personal purposes, and small businesses will not be affected by this regulation.
Implementation Schedule
The new pricing system is planned to officially enter into force on October 1, after which the costs for companies sending high-volume messages will be affected.
Current Situation in Turkey
WhatsApp's messaging pricing for businesses is not limited to Kazakhstan alone and continues to be implemented in different categories in Turkey as well.
