New Regulations from the Ministry of Trade for the Real Estate Sector

New conditions are being prepared by the Ministry of Trade for the Electronic Advertisement Verification System, which is implemented to increase transparency in the real estate sector and prevent speculative price increases.

New Era in the Electronic Advertisement System

The Electronic Advertisement Verification System, put into effect to ensure transparency in the real estate sector and prevent speculative price increases, started being applied as of February 15, 2026, to cover for-sale real estate advertisements following rental housing. The Ministry of Trade is now adding new conditions to this system.

Authorization Requirement via e-Government

According to statements by sector authorities, an authorization agreement will also be made in the new period. This agreement will be uploaded directly to e-Government along with the advertisement publication permit. In cases where the authorization agreement is canceled, the relevant advertisement will be immediately removed from publication, thus making the process more secure.

Plan for Transition to Single-Realtor Practice

While advertisement authorization can currently be given to multiple realtors, the new regulation is envisioned to remove this right. It is planned that the sales process of the real estate will be managed by only a single realtor.

Date Expectation in the Secure Payment System

The secure payment system for real estate was planned to enter into force on October 1. However, sector authorities shared with the public that they expect this date to be postponed.
