New Rent Increase Rate Clarified with September Inflation
Following the announcement of TÜİK data, the current rent increase rate applicable to homes and workplaces stood at 31.49 percent.
In line with the September inflation data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the new rent hike rate to be applied to homes and workplaces has been clarified.
Inflation Data Announced
The Turkish Statistical Institute shared the inflation rates for September with the public. Accordingly, monthly inflation materialized at 1.84 percent, while the annual rate was 29.73 percent.
New Rent Hike Rate
Following the official data announced, the rent increase rate to be made for homes and workplaces came to the forefront as 31.49 percent. Last month, this rate was at the level of 31.79 percent.
Application Principles
Business owners whose lease contract period expires this month will make their payments by applying a 31.49 percent hike to their rents. The landlord has the right to make an increase equal to or less than this rate.
