New Rental Increase Ceiling Rate for Residences and Workplaces Clarified with September Inflation
In line with data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, the October rent increase limit rate, which closely concerns landlords and tenants, has been announced.
With the announcement of September inflation data by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the ceiling rent increase rate to be applied to residences and workplaces has been made official.
September Inflation and the New Rate
Following the inflation figures announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the ceiling increase rate awaited by tenants and landlords has become clear.
As a result of calculations based on the 12-month average inflation, the maximum rate that can be applied in rent increases has been determined.
Calculated as 31.49 Percent
According to the official data announced, the ceiling rent increase rate applicable to residences and workplaces stood at 31.49 percent.
This rate will constitute the upper limit for the parties in contract renewals to be made in the coming period.
Comparison with Last Month's Rate
In the previous month, the ceiling rent increase rate that could be applied to residences and workplaces was recorded at 31.79 percent.
Along with the newly announced rate of 31.49 percent, it was observed that there was a limited decrease in the ceiling increase rate.
