International Health and Wellbeing in Old Age Festival Concluded in Kepez

The 2nd International Health and Wellbeing in Old Age Festival, organized by Kepez Municipality, successfully concluded after three days featuring workshops, panels, choir and dance performances.
Festival Closing Program
The event, implemented with Kepez Municipality's Age-Friendly Kepez vision, hosted colorful shows and important sessions on its final day. Bringing together different age groups and cultures, the organization concluded with a closing performance featuring music and dance.
Sustainability and Design Workshops
While the final day of the events started with Sustainable Living and Creative Design Workshops, participants gained environmental awareness. The origami event led by Dr. Ikuko Murakami and the studies utilizing waste materials attracted great interest.
Climate-Resilient Cities Panel
During the COP31 Panel held within the scope of the festival, age-friendly solutions in climate-resilient cities were discussed. Throughout the panel, the impacts of climate change on urban life and the needs of elderly individuals were addressed.
Cultural Events and Fashion Show
Choirs from Antalya and Cyprus Girne 60+ Refreshment Universities, as well as a Russian choir and dance group, took the stage. The "Aging World, Life-Giving Fashion" Recycling and Sustainable Design Fashion Show ranked among the most striking and colorful moments of the festival.
