Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı emphasized the strategic importance of livestock farming in his speech at the opening of the Turkey Red Meat Producers Central Union facility in Erzurum.

Vaccination and Identification Fees Abolished

Announcing that a new support item has been created under the name of animal and herd health support, Minister Yumaklı stated that breeders will no longer be charged for vaccination and identification.

6 Billion Liras Resource Allocated

Stating that veterinarians will not demand an additional fee and that no deductions will be made from other supports, Yumaklı announced that approximately 6 billion liras of resources have been allocated for this work.

Positive Discrimination for Erzurum in Livestock

Stating that positive discrimination is applied to Erzurum in livestock farming, Minister Yumaklı noted that producers engaged in fattening and dairy cattle farming are provided with additional support and interest discounts at various rates.
