OECD Revises Türkiye's Economic Growth Forecasts Downward
In its interim report, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development lowered the growth expectations for the Turkish economy for this year and next year.
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development updated growth forecasts for Türkiye and the global economy with its released interim Economic Outlook report.

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development evaluated recent developments in the global economy by publishing its interim Economic Outlook report titled Coping with Successive Shocks.
While it was stated that the global economy grew by 3.4 percent in 2025, it was expressed that there was a slowdown in the pace of growth in the first half of this year.
Global Growth and Inflation Expectations
The institution raised its global growth forecast for this year to 2.9 percent, while adjusting its expectation for next year to 3 percent.
It is estimated that global inflation will accelerate in the short term but gradually slow down by the end of the period.
Türkiye's Growth Forecasts Updated
It was projected that the Turkish economy, which recorded 3.7 percent growth last year, will grow by 2.7 percent this year and 3.6 percent next year.
The updated rates indicated a downward revision compared to previous forecasts.
Inflation and Other Projections for Türkiye
Despite increases in energy and fertilizer prices, it was projected that the disinflation process in the country will continue.
Inflation is expected to materialize at 31.5 percent this year and 24.7 percent next year.
